![]() Stick to the rooms with the skeletons, blood worms, Giant rats, and Giant spiders. The thing you must be careful of is whenever you open a door in the maze a random creature will spawn, and it could be the barrow brother you have not killed yet. The Chest will be located in the center of this maze, with your prize awaiting. Looks Incredibly confusing, but it really isn't once you know what your doing. You may now notice that in one of the tombs you will find a tunnel, upon entering you will find a giant maze. He rarely to never hits, prayer not needed. This guy is by far the easiest of the brothers. Use protect melee if you want, but I never do. If wearing Guthans, Veracs, or even rune he does not hit often. Mage Prayer not needed unless you want too. His Maximum is 20, he uses all weaken spells and use fire wave. If you wear dragonhide armour (I suggest Black Hide) or Karils he can't hit that often. This guy isn't as nearly as bad as the rest of his brothers. Unless you feel confident in your ability's, protect from missiles is recommended. He can hit CONSTANT 20's when he gets lucky. Now you may think he sucks, but you are dead wrong. With Prayer off he can hit as high as 24 I believe. With Prayer on he can inflict a maximum of 16. ![]() Mage him or Melee him with Verac.Įven with protect from prayer on, he will hit you, not nearly as hard as if you had it off though. Unless you are 99 Defence and very confident in your ability's protect from melee is recommended at ALL times. ![]() The lower the hitpoints he has, the higher his hits are. This son of a ***** can deal out MASSIVE damage. This is the hills they are located on, there tomb can be accessed by digging with a spade on top of them. The yellow line is the only other way you can get there if you have not done the quest, and it is a LONG way. The boat will let you go up river, which is the purple line allowing you very close to barrows. Run out and across the bridge the the boat. After you go down you run to the end of the tunnel go through the wooden doors and you end up in the swamp. This is a HUGE shortcut when getting there. After you do a quest "In Search Of The Myreque." You can use a trap door behind the Canafis bar. These are the path ways you can take when getting to barrows. (I would appreciate if someone could get inventory screenies of when you want to do multiple trips without banking, I can explain it to them when I obtain the screenies.) Your runes will almost always get replenished when you open the chest. ![]() This way you can efficiently mage while wearing your Guthans armour. Now most people when maging use mage dart because it has a special ability of ignoring the mage attack bonus. Once again Rings and Amulets can be replaced, runes are for home, and guthans spear is for when you need health, you would use the full sets effect when you are in the tunnel, against the creatures. The runes are for house teleport, I usually teleport to my house after opening the chest, recharge prayer, then enter my kharll Teleport back to the Canafis bar. The whip is for Karils, and the Karils armour and x-bow is for Ahrim. The Fury can be replaced with Glory of course, and the Beserker ring can be replaced with ring of life if you aren't confident at first. Veracs works best as it ignores the defence of the barrows brother, this is my personal method when doing barrows as it is done quick. This guide is going to cover everything for all you barrow noobies, so listen up. ![]()
